THE HOUSE OF OLD KRAVENIK
The Old Kravenik is located in the Fore at the foot of Mount Botev peak and Mara-gedik, 5 km. of Apriltsi, situated 30 kilometers from the town of Sevlievo and 32 km from the town of Troyan and 40 km. from the district town of Gabrovo.
The village has good road, water and electricity.10 km. from the place is State Game Breeding Station "Rosica-Lagat”, which is developing breeding and hunting tourism and offers horse riding. There is starting point for hut Mazalat (2 hours).
In this region is broken out the April uprising in 1876 year. The village is a typical Balkan quarter. The building was put into operation around 1930, but the house was built in 1927 by beech material. From below (the very entrance of the house) is located Cellar -- tavern and 2 fireplaces.
The second floor has one main room with fireplace, electricity and 3 other rooms .The place is equal, surrounded by natural boxwood and fruit plantations (mainly apples and walnuts), everywhere there are toilets and bathrooms. A typical feature is a great view of the mountain.
